Intimidate Check at 15th derived just from the build:
Take 10(Skill Mastery) +18 ranks +4 Menacing Demeanor +4 Bear Totem +4 Skill Artistry +3 Skill Focus, +3 Demoralizing Stare, +2 Persuasive, +2 bluff synergy =50

Modified by relative size of course....I guess it'd be considered light-medium infantry type for most purposes, with a bonus of being able to make most people crap their pants with a glance if he wants...Start most combats with Intimidating Rage followed by Show Off to make one foe frightened for 2 rounds, and then stay between the bad guys and the squishy guys in the party...And he can even be a pseudo-diplomat with that intimidate too...

You have to adventure together with a half-elven Diplomonkey Bard.

Bard to Unfriendly NPC: Look, can't you help us out here? I don't want my friend to get angry. You wouldn't like him when he's angry....

Instead of a SUPER-Intimidate you might want to simply try the "Daunting Presence" feat. It is way better than intimidate in combat. It is limited, but one of my characters has it, so it is out there.

It works very well in combo with Intimidate - my Bard/Marshal has it and a high Intimidate score. You shake 'em up with Daunting Presence, then panic them with Intimidate.

I wonder... Was this build inspired by something I said? Hmm? :)

Anyway, one of the legal Dragon Magazine feats (Raider's Spirit) gives +2 Init, +2 Intimidate.

Edit: I would consider taking the fourth level of Menacing Brute just for the +4 bonus on critical confirmations with all weapons that actually stacks with the Power Critical feat.

Yeah, it may be more useful, but I basically just put that together to see the highest I could get intimidate without marshal or too much charisma investment.

Resurrecting this thread.

This build, while not as intimidating as the original, is probably more effective in combat.

Race: Half-Orc

Str 17, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 8, Cha 10

1: Barbarian 1 - Intimidating Strike
2: Fighter 1 - *Power Attack
3: Fighter 2 - Iron Will, *Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Bastard Sword)
4: Fighter 3 - Str 18
5: Fighter 4 - *Weapon Focus (Bastard Sword)
6: Menacing Brute 1 - Extra Rage
7: Menacing Brute 2
8: Menacing Brute 3 - Str 19
9: Menacing Brute 4 - Intimidating Rage
10: Exotic Weapon Master 1
11: Exotic Weapon Master 2
12: Fighter 5 - Reckless Rage, Str 20
13: Fighter 6 - Weapon Specialization (Bastard Sword)
14: Fighter 7
15: Fighter 8 - Menacing Demeanor, *Melee Weapon Mastery (Slashing)

*Fighter Bonus Feat.

Exotic Weapon Master Tricks - Uncanny Blow, Show Off.

This build, at 15th, only has a +28 bonus to Intimidate checks, but is making checks with each successful swing of its sword.

While Raging this build can have around +30 to hit before Power Attacking, and deal around 1d10+25+1d6 while two-handing its weapon.

Low saves are the biggest liability to this build.
