| Bob_the_Theurge02-05-06, 09:50 PM | The following topics are off limits (any thread containing them will be ignored): Calling for a rules item (a feat, spell, prestige class, or base class) to be “moved up” from a more restricted status to a less restricted one I find this to be both needlessly restrictive to discussions, and unhelpful to the players. I realize that there may be avenues of which I am unaware, but having subscribed to the Living-Greyhawk yahoo group and monitoring these boards, I do not think so. With the exception of Dispel Confusion articles, which it seems are more a way for the Circle to ban things than add them to the campaign, the moving of items to a less restricted status is only to happen one time per year: when the LGCS comes out. Therefore, when it is up for review would seem to be a good time for people to tender their concerns on these issues. I realize that the Circle may not agree with people, and that is fine, but I for one would like to see some responses from them, at least on those topics which have been brought up. Do I expect everything to be Core access? Of course not. Do I think that certain things are not broken nor contradictory to the living greyhawk world? Yes. It is also unhelpful to wade through discussions of people trying to get things banned, especially because someone gave away access to a broken item, and see my own questions stifled. |
