The section on which type of magical items needs clarification.

Can an animal with human-like anatomy (the ability to grasp things) use weapons, through training (ie a feat purchase) ?

What if they've got an int above 2?

If the answer to that is a solid -no-.. Then the text needs to be updated to not leave the loophole of non-magical weapons. If it's less cut and clear than that, then it needs a short explaination.

Are armor spikes considered a part of "one suit of barding" ?

Can an animal use them as a weapon with feat-based proficiency?

The Rock Hurling feat is core for animals. Are rocks an item that's excluded from animal use?

What feats are available for animal companions? The LGCS says PHB and MM feats in the section on animal companions. But, the NPC only section has feats for companions, familiars, mounts and cohorts which includes non-core feats. There has also been at least one post by a circle member which seemed to imply all core feats were available (and possibly limited feats with access).

Animal companions can only use tricks from the PHB. But, we are allowed to use skills and expanded options from non-core sources. Is it possible to use tricks from, for instance, CV without AR access?
