| abbadon371808-06-07, 07:32 PM | I was told by another player that there is a feat that allows you to keep your armor while wild shaping but I have not been able to find anything like it on the WoTC feats list. Can anyone tell me if this feat exists? Also, as a side question, if the feat exists and it is used while wearing armor that has armor spikes built into it, do you retain the armor spikes or do they become ineffective? Thanks in advance |
| Banor08-06-07, 07:45 PM | I think it was an armor special ability not a feat. |
| ShinAkuma208-06-07, 07:50 PM | There are special armor abilities that will make the armor shape along with you, but I don't think I've ever seen a feat to do that. |
| clannagh08-06-07, 07:58 PM | There may be a feat but I havent come across it myself, beasthide armor or wild armor are likely what they are thinking of. There is also the MIC "wilding clasp" but i doubt that works on armor, it seems intended for periapts and such like items. |

Wild Armour " The wearer of a suit of armor or a shield with this ability preserves his armor bonus (and any enhancement bonus) while in a wild shape. Armor and shields with this ability usually appear to be made covered in leaf patterns. While the wearer is in a wild shape, the armor cannot be seen." Does this mean any other powers or abilities of the armour "special ability bonus equivalents" are gone? such as spell resistance slick etc Or your original spikes problem they cant be seen but do they work? My personal problem is I have a very expensive suit of wild dragonhide with an intelligent armour enhancement (from a core special) is it still able to activate its special powers in animal form? |
