Bracers of armor access [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-22-07, 11:12 PM I have 40 ars with my 9th level wizard and I have no access to any bracers of AC at all. Over all my characters I have 100 different ARs from 6 regions and I have only one access to a bracer of ac +1 and that is as a favor so it could not be crafted. Is my expirience unique or are bracers of AC really rare in LG?

04-22-07, 11:14 PM Bracers of Armor are Open access, which means you do not need AR access to buy them or craft them. See p. 26 of the LGCS for a complete list of Open items from the DMG.

BoA +1 was always "core", so you'd never have found access to it. It'd have been like finding access to Alchemist's Fire.
