| DragonKnight8211-03-06, 06:00 PM | Does a Brighrsands Druid who chooses to use the alternate Druid package from Sandstorm also gain the ability to use the Sandstorm monsters for Wild Shaping? The Sandstorm Druid entry makes some specific mentions of Vermin when it gains 10th level, but nothing ever really says whether you can or not. I would assume that you could, since you're gaining the ability to take the animal companions from the book. |
| Arvagor11-03-06, 06:24 PM | I would say at a minimum, you should safely be able to wild shape into any form that is a possible animal companion, including the the list on page 48 of Sandstorm.Q: Can my Bright Lands druid take a wasteland animal companion listed on page 48 of the Sandstorm book? A: Yes, with the exception of the tressym, as it is a Forgotten Realms creature. As some of the creatures are detailed only in Sandstorm, then it seems reasonable that you should be able to adopt their forms. I twould always be agood idea though, to ask your DM before play begins, and explain how you would "know" about the non MM forms... |
