Rerednaw 02-09-07, 04:58 PM	I'm fine with the removal of Alter Self. However, a potion of Alter Self was one of the only ways for a centaur to gain access to certain parts of many mods. Any chance a simple potion of 'Centaur to Medium Humanoid' could be added for all those nasty medium-sized spiral staircases and ladders? :) Thanks, Aaron Wanted to keep this separate from the LGCS597 discussion. If centaurs are humanoid, then you already have a lower cost solution to your dilemma from the PHB. Potion of Reduce Person for a whole 50 gp. As far as I know, it's still core, er. open access.

First, as stated, they are monsterous humanoids so they aren't affected by the spell (likewise neither are dopplegangers.. it's a way you test for them). Secondly, because we are still stuck with the stupid DMG tables there's not a 1st level potion of Reduce Person available.. only a 5th level one. -James
