Is there anything in the rules stating that a character with a natural claw attack wearing magical gloves or gauntlets cannot make his claw attacks?

I never found anything like that in the rules, and magical gloves are supposed to resize to fit the wearer, which SHOULD provide claw holes.

Well...there is the LGCS rule that says that in this campaign, most magic items don't resize (or at least not fast enough to react during an adventure...clearly most resize small to medium and reverse since most magic items other than weapons don't specify size on the AR and you can buy what you want, even if the way you found it was killing the kobold sorcerer)

Most folks with claws turn into something not very humanoid, which means gloves "meld" anyway. An exception might be something like the Beast Claws spell in the SC, or alter self to troglodyte, where the glove might stay on at DM discretion.

Bottom line, the rules don't cover this case, so the Judge decides. Expect table variation.

In this particular case, I am talking about a Sorcerer with the Draconic Claw feat from the Complete Arcane. The same answer would apply to PrCs that permanently grant claw attacks such as Dragon Disciple and Geomancer.
