Lupo 03-26-06, 08:59 AM	is it possible to create a cohort with a special class requirement, i.e. spellsword???? the cohort in question (a dakon) will start at level 10, and i am considerring him to start as wiz 3, fighter 2, barbarian 1, spellsword 4. referring to the requirements: special: must have defeated a foe through force of arms alone, without recourse to spellcasting. from the lgcs 596: Spellsword: This must be met in normal play and noted in the notes section on your AR. (the cohort access was gained in the module "red tide", where i was nearly beaten to pulp by them) any official or semi-official rulings??? ciao martin m. additional: during my intensive skimming of the lgcs, a strange thingy popped up: lgcs 596, p. 40: Your cohort may accompany you on regional, metaregional, core, and core special LIVING GREYHAWK adventures as long as you follow the rules for their inclusion (see below). is it intentional that cohorts are banned from regional and metaregional specials and interactives?? or is it just over interpretation????
redgamer 03-26-06, 10:53 AM	Never heard of a meteregional or region special. Many interactives are not appropriate for cohorts and those that are are more likely to have full tables than standard mods. Your cohort can't take spellspword without meeting the requiremnt in play. Something that is going to be rather tough but not impossible. He can't start play with spellsword levels.
