There aren't too many "collar" items out there; in fact, I can only think of three:

- collar of obedience from Complete Adventurer; but it's for animals, not people (makes Handle Animal checks easier)
- collar of obedience from Miniatures Handbook; same name as above, but different functionality
- collar of slavery, also from Miniatures Handbook

The latter two are cursed items.

There is also a collar of resizing out there that allows reduce animal limited times a day. Can't remember which book it is from though.

The Collar of Tusmit was actually originally a 2nd Ed. item from the sourcebook Greyhawk Adventures. I imagine it was added to the AR on Folly for nostalgic purposes.

Oh, man, I'm so bummed I missed Folly. Not for the collar, but how many times have I heard someone at a table yell out "Folly re-roll!"

I know of one mod where the Balor with class levels uber-demon had a +1 vorpal sword . . . but that was at APL 18 I think, and LG doesn't go that high anymore.

I know of one mod where the Balor with class levels uber-demon had a +1 vorpal sword Balors, by default, wield +1 vorpal longswords -- it's in their MM entry.

They didn't get access :( The mod assumed it went BOOM but the group I know of that played it did in fact take the balor's gear off him before they blew him up.

The collar is worth it, in my opinion. Sure, it seems useless, but no matter how infrequently it comes up, its nice to have the option while your friends heads hit the ceiling.

At least you aren't still hearing it. :)

Well, you shouldn't be, as the re-roll was only good for one year and it was a Year 3 adventure. I know I certainly missed mine for a while when it expired last year.

Crazy wierd adventure that one. LOL
