Just idle curiosity at this point, don't play a wizard but may in the future.

You can copy spells from another player's spellbook at the end of mods. What if that player has limited spells. Can you copy them freely or are you blocked by lack of 'access'.

What if you have access but just didn't pay for it (buying scrolls or spellbooks)? Can you copy then?

What about scribing from scrolls? Could you use someone else's scroll to learn a limited spell (or a spell at all, not even sure if this is allowed)?

You need access yourself to get limited things. This extends to spells.

If you want to learn a limited spell that you have access to as a wizard, you need to buy the scroll or spellbook or whatever (this particular tidbit was in the last dispel confusion, and spawned a thread or two on the wizards boards here).

So it is "no" to every question there.

You must have the access yourself, and if for a wizard it was in the form of a scroll or spellbook, then you must have purchased said scroll or spellbook in order to copy it to your own spellbook to complete the access.
