The core rules allow other characters to assist a caster in item creation by supplying some of the pre-requisits. For example a druid might help a wizard create a bag of tricks.

No where in the LGCS does it say that you either CAN or CANNOT do this. It might be implied in the lack of a statement, but since assistance is part of the item crafting rules, it can also be infered that LG doesn't forbid it.

Please, whichever way it was inteneded by the circle, simply put in a line under the "The following rules apply to all Magic Item Creation." section saying:

A PC MAY NOT assist another PC in item creation without specific AR access to do so.

OR

A PC MAY assist another PC in item creation by supplying a prerequisit, and spending the same number of TUs.

(or whatever).

I don't think assisting with a new magic item fits with the "every man is an island" philosophy of LG. However, I think it would be a good addition for repairing magic items.
