I'm cusious if a character can intimidate an enemy to shaken, and then in later rounds intimidate again, pushing the enemy to frightened (assuming they were still shaken at the time). For instance, Intimidating Rage let's you make intimidate an enemy for free when you start your rage, and if successful they remain shaken for the duration of your rage. Can you then close with the enemy and use a standard action to attempt to demoralize the foe further, pushing them to frightened? The Intimidate skill doesn't specify a hard limit, it just states that further attempts ar unlikely. Perhaps some kind of cumulative penalty per attempt would be in order? |

Intimidate causes a CONDITION, and that condition carries certain penalties. In the SRD it states that fear conditions are cumulative. The fuzzy area is whether or not a character can be repeatedly intimidated to worsen their fear level. |
