Is it possible to use a custom MIL for a character's second MIL? I'd like to see one that is basically one third wands and two thirds disposable magic. This would be especially useful for a scribe monkey.

I'd imagine that as long as it was a master item logsheet...you could use it.

i have uploaded a new version of my excel fillable MIC and MIL to my homepage:

http://www-stud.uni-essen.de/~sl1506/web-lg/lg-index.htm

it includes an additional MIL that has space for up to 60 misceallous items OR consumables/potions/scrolls AND 12 wands.

it follows mostly the general layout of the normal MIL, i don't expect DMs to be to picky about it.

the file can also be found in the file section of the yahoo lg-characterdiscussion group.

I mocked up some of these using Photoshop a while back, emailed them to my triad, and was told that only the official LG MIL sheets are allowed, period, and they had no intention of changing them.

So, unless they've changed their stance (in which case I'll be happy to resubmit mine)...

yea, i just checked the LGCS, it seems that they want us to use the "official" version exclusiveley .

then for everyones sake make the "official" version more user friendly

it seems to be the same with the "official" character sheet . . . way to few weapon slots for the versatile frontliners, no way of having all the "really relevant" information on one side:mymy:.

or the AR line with the character name, where one is supposed to fill in class and level as well, no problems for straight characters , but my ranger/fighter/barbarian/master thrower/pious templar will get problems from level 4 onwards :thinks:

me as a dm i have no problems with whatsoever record-keeping a player comes up with, as long as (S)HE is fast with it, i dislike those players who have to recalculate every roll from the BAB upwards :waits: after five minutes comes up with a "miss" only to interrupt the next player in the middle of his action with a "hell, i now have it, i actually DID hit, due to bonus xy from z".and the MILS should be readable, i see this better guaranteed with custom versions (as long as they are close to the "official") than the overcrowded, overwritten-erased-overwritten-erased- . . . . . .

sorry for the  ;) *ok, i admit it, i like the smiley:D

Yes, officially you can only use the one style of MIL...

How about (as I suggested last year) we switch to a "Magic Items Logsheet" and "Consumable Magic Items Logsheet" then instead?

It would be very helpful and probably cut down on the Dead Trees we generate a bit.

Yes, officially you can only use the one style of MIL...Officially, can the Circle sanction a second one? If you look at Martin's work, that second one is just waiting for an official thumbs up.
