08-06-07, 02:36 PM I'm not really sure about this but as a Wizard, say I took CWI at 3rd, saved some money and crafted a Headband of Int +2. Later around 8th level I want to upgrade this. Do I pay the full amount or can I "craft" this upgrade into my item, paying half gold and spending 1/25th the upgrade cost in XP?

So the cost to upgrade the item is +12,000 GP (6,000 for the crafter) and 480 XP. It will take 3 TU's.
