| Itsa_Trika02-08-07, 08:19 AM | Since clerics of Wee Jas use the Repose domain, wouldn't it be appropriate to list the Death domain as Closed (author use only) to prevent any confusion? Also, the "sample" Repose domain posted on the WotC site as a preview of Sandstorm and the actual domain in Sandstorm are different. Part of the intention on the preview was to avoid any penalty to players for this change to a core rule, but instead has created a lot of confusion. |
| kjenks02-08-07, 10:00 AM | It seems like a good idea to change the Death domain to "NPC Only" status in the next rev, but the Death domain is effectively NPC Only already. The only LG deities granting access to the Death domain (per the LG Deities document) are evil deities and PC clerics can't worship an evil deity (per the LGCS 596CY). The LG deities granting access to the Death domain: Doresain, Falazure, Great Mother, Grolantor, Incabulos, Kiaransali, Kyuss, Laogzed, Memnor, Mictlantecuhtli, Nerull, Shargaas, Yurtrus -- all of them evil. -- Ken Jenks |

If it's "effecitvely" NPC Only, why not make it NPC Only? There are still people out there who don't know that there was a Repose domain substitution (generally new players) and including it on the list wouldn't take up a lot of space. Especially since those appendices are frequently the only portions players actually read. |
