DMs Challenge and LGCS 597 [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-11-07, 11:53 AM How does the new LGCS interact with the High Level DM's Challenge campaign?

Specifically, a lot of options that were Limited became Open under the DM Challenge rules. Since no AR or other special documentation was needed to take those options in the HL campaign, the removal of the Limited category creates a problem.

If you took a character option that was normally 'limited' (and therefore 'open' in the HLC), and have no other documentation that allows you access, what do you do now that 'limited' is gone?

Remove the option from your character? Keep it? Something else?

02-11-07, 08:40 PM Hopefully that's out soon too, then, as there's a couple of DM Challenges at DDXP, where the new LGCS presumably takes effect.

It would be nice, since there's HL events running at DDXP, which starts, y'know, tomorrow.

He is at DDXP (in fact, all Circle members except Creighton are there).

02-14-07, 10:19 AM I'm awaiting an editable copy of the HL rules so I can update them to reflect the changes in terminology for the new LGCS. In the meanwhile, if you have any specific questions, I'll be at DDXP (and marshalling Return to the Tomb each time it runs) so please do come and ask me there.
