| Mortepierre02-02-06, 03:36 AM | The LGCS (p.40) outlines the same rule as the one described in the PHB (Handle Animal skill section), namely that commanding an animal to perform a trick is a move action, and "pushing" it is a full-round. So far, so good. The problem is that all the adventures (regional, meta-regional, and core) I've run lately (and that includes year 5 adventures) have a confusing sentence in the LG LEVELS OF PLAY section. The text (which I guess is just a copy/paste of an old adventure template) states "This is a free action (spoken command) that may be attempted each round." Either the template you use for writing adventures needs to be corrected, or the appropriate section of the LGCS needs to be amended to account for that substantial change to the rules. |
