Double Bonus Feats [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-15-07, 12:36 PM If I have two classes which grant the Silent Spell feat as a bonus feat (Beguiler, Unseen Seer), that's just bad luck right? i.e. I do not get a replacement bonus feat.

I just want a little clarification.

06-15-07, 12:56 PM Unless the bonus feat description for the 2nd class offers something like "if the PC already has this feat, he may select another feat instead" then you are correct. I think only 1-2 classes actually do this, so the vast majority of bonus feats are set in stone and not interchangable.

I personally think all classes should have the text to allow another feat to be added (I highly doubt it is that big of a balancing issue with the few classes that actually have that text) because it makes more sense.

Not if a class is giving you a specific bonus feat. There might not be anything else to choose.
