Hello,

I was just wondering if this Prestige Class replaced the old True Necromancer class. I'm guessing yes since True Nercormancer isn't listed but I don't have HH so I'm not sure.

the Dread Necromancer is a Base Class, not a Prestige Class. Thus the answer would be no.

True Necromancer is Libris Mortis, isn't it? I don't believe any of the LM stuff is listed.

Libris Mortis, along with Draconomicon, Lords of Madness, Races of the Dragon, and others are listed as book that are available only to scenario writers.

"Only authors and triads may use the following books. Material from these sources may have limited availability to players with campaign documentation."

Thus, access to the True Necromancer PrC may be granted as a Limited PrC, though it's HIGHLY unlikely. It's usually item access from these books that ends up being granted to players.

That was my confusion, they were so close in name that I wanted to know if it was the same thing or not. Also I don't have HH so I couldn't just look it up.

Thanks for the clarification though.
