Fleet of Foot looks to be core access in the LGCS

Page 99 in Complete Warrior

"When running or charging, you can make a single direction change of 90 degrees or less. You can't use this feat while in medium or heavy armor....."

Does this feat work while mounted? (Or would the mount need the feat?)

Do I count as charging, the mount, or both.

I'm always a bit confused by rules and feats in D&D when trying to (ab)use them mounted :)

Some feats are ambiguous in their use while mounted; this one I do not think is. This allows different movement while charging from normal. Since it applies to movement, I would say it should require the creature doing the movement to have the feat. This isn't an official ruling, but it seems pretty clear to me.

I'm fairly sure you'd need to have a mount with the feat for them to use it.

Which raises another question, is it possible to have a mount with this feat in LG?

Yes it is. Mounts can select from any of the core access feats plus any of the NPC only feats marked as "animal companions" etc. It has a high dex requirement and needs run I think, so it's difficult to get until the higher levels, and you'd need a funky animal companion such as a direbat to qualify, but it's doable.

Cheers,
