| Arvagor02-06-06, 03:29 PM | Should these spells be removed from the Spell Clarifications section of chapter 6, since they can no longer be cast by PCs? Or are there enough extant favors that grant a casting of these, that the clarifications should remain? |
| Mortepierre02-06-06, 05:33 PM | I am not so sure. After all, the Circle announced that "high level" adventures would soon open for (previously) retired PC. Presumably, those high level PC will be able to use those spells. |
| Arvagor02-06-06, 05:53 PM | But... The high-level campaign must presumably have a separate set of campaign standards that would act as a supplement to the LGCS anyways -- call it the "LGHLCS" (Living Greyhawk High-Level Campaign Standards). Moving such special clarifications to the LGHLCS seems appropriate, and saves some space in the LGCS. Just a suggestion... |
| solbergb02-06-06, 06:24 PM | Bad guys can cast all of those spells at APL14. NPC's can too, either in the mod, or as part of a favor. Judges need to know what they do in LG. |
| WotC_Tulach02-06-06, 07:23 PM | The LGCS will still be used in most circumstances in the high-level option. Thus, the need to keep those clarifications in the LGCS (in addition to the fact that some villains might have access to 9th level spells). |
