| Bogjob07-27-07, 07:30 AM | Can I have a clarification on this. Do you have to have the 1st Greyhawk Ruins AR as your 1st AR or does it just have to be in your stack before you hit 2nd level to take the Domain of Greyhawk as your home region ? |
| Lord Toast07-27-07, 08:12 AM | <<Greyhawk Ruins Sourcebook and Character Creation Options Grab the Greyhawk Ruins Sourcebook from the Greyhawk Ruins section of Living Greyhawk welcome page for more information on this arc and the new character generation options. Only new or 1st-level characters can play in Greyhawk Ruins. (That is the AR for the first adventure must appear in your stack before you reach 2nd-level). If you create a new character for Greyhawk Ruins, you can choose the Domain of Greyhawk as your home region. >> http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/lggr/20070724a Hope this helps you. |

This is the part that is causing the difficulty, some of us are reading this this way, if you create a character for Greyhawk Ruins then surely the first AR has to be a Ruins one other wise you have created that new character to play the Core, Regional etc that is your first AR, not Greyhawk Ruins. If you play a non Ruins mod as your first AR then you are still a member of your normal home region not Domain of Greyhawk, although you can play Ruins as long as you haven't hit 2nd before your first Ruins AR. Some of the confusion is because the Bright Sands special rules required you to have the first Bright Sands mod as your 1st AR. |

If you reach 2nd level without having played a "Greyhawk Ruins" adventure your character's home region reverts to the are in which you have residency... Therefor, it is possible to start your PC before you enter the ruins. I don't know if this is going to get changed however. It might. |
