Ok, so theres some feats in Races of Destiny. (yeah i know, big surprise).
Some, like Able Learner, are listed as restricted. Some are listed as core access. (again, so what)

my conundrumalicous problem is... what about the feats that arent listed at all, like heroic destiny. The book is lgh alowed, because it has feats which are listed as core, and listed as restricted, so its clearly been taken into consideration. However, what does one do about the feats which simply arent mentioned?

its probably a dumb question, and theres probably a 'if its not listed, dont touch it' rule clarified somewhere... but i cant find it. cheers.

LGCS, page 25:Limited is the default, and thus limited feats, spells, base classes, and prestige classes are not listed in this document.

if not listed as core OR restricted OR NPC only, it is considered limited (reference for this is in the LGCS 596, page 29).

so it may be a reward on an AR or even tought to the members of a meta-organisation but meta-org access has been drastically reduced lately, and i wouldn't expect new feats granted by meta-orgs for some time.

That combined, with the fact that I am currently unemployed, means I have a lot of time to read message boards and answer questions...

In the Gran March most of the Military and Relgious Meta-orgs do give access to Heroic, Protected and Fearless Destiny. So access is out there.

I'm actually considering giving my new Cohort Heroic and Fearless Destiny so he'll survive longer at higher APL's.

lol. im substituting. because im employed, i only have time to troll while im at work, and i dont have the books on me, so rather than drive home when i think of a question, i simply ask you, and you give me the answer, then the thread either kicks off with some interesting discusions (like access, in this case) or fades into obscurity, which is fine too, cuz i have my answer :D

*shudder*, so you dump two precious feats instead of making the cohort more effective, you could get combat expertise AND improved trip for this.

ps: builds with two many "make it more survivable" tend to be killed by those thingies that survived as well ;)

Evil DM Note: Those Destiny feats are fun for NPCs. The look on a players face when he unleashes a mega-damage crit and you get to say "But fate intervenes and saves him! He is down and stable at -9" is priceless, and well worth the "wasted" feats. :D
