Hexblade doesn't have it's own spell section in the book, but the sidebar does say to add assorted spells, not that you may add the spells. Distract Assailant, Invisibility Swift, and Critical Strike are all nice spells for a Hexblade to have. |
| DroidTrooper07-24-07, 02:08 AM | I don't believe its a sideboard (assuming you mean optional rules text.) This uses the same formating as the description of small creatures (p20 PH) and animal companions (p36 PH). Its just a deliberate formating for text that does not fit well in the default styling. This text (along with similar texts in Complete Arcane, Mage, and Scoundrel) add the spells to your spell list. So long as they are open (or you have documentation listing opening them for you) they are legal selections to add to your list of spells known when you level. |
