How do you order regional events? I tried to order the "Yeo 5, Regional 1 event and I got the standard little email and then I went to download it and it says, "go to www.living-greyhawk.com" to get my adventure but when I try to go to the site I don't get it. That site is old and down or something. So how DO I order regional mods?

The adventures are available on the RPGA web-site in the LG section. Note though that downloading an adventure is not enough. You will need to send an E-mail to your Triad with in it your name, and the code of your event. They can provide you with the AR and the passwords, and in somes cases errata and advice or the actual adventure (when it is not yet available on the RPGA website). Of course, they also verify a few things such as whether or not you are allowed to order the regional (you might be surprised how many people either do not realize regionals can only be played in limited areas of the world or try to ignore that rule on purpose).

I am going to see whether or not the Circle can get that piece of text changed...

Here's the site for YEO mods:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/region/yeomanry
Click 'Regional Adventures' at the top.

Here's the AR Request form for YEO mods:
http://www.yeomanry.org/ar_req.html
This will send an email to your Triad requesting the password and AR.

You can get to both of these from www.rpga.com (or http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga), I just thought I'd save you some looking.

I REALLY appreciate your help. A LOT.

But I have more questions. Are these (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=lg/region/yeomanry) all of the mods available for regional play this year. What about these mods (http://www.yeomanry.org/region.html)? Are they retired? When do regional mods retire?

Also, I can't fill out that AR request form because it asks for my email and asks a bunch of questions about ingoing and outgoing servers and a password given to me by my ISP that I don't know. I only use my gmail account. (Gmail rocks:D ).

Thanks for the above though, it saved me some trouble.

The mods on the RPGA site haven't been updated consistently, so there will be some mods that are out but not on the official RPGA site. Those will be sent to you by the Triad. If you can't use the email form, just send that same information in a manual email to Beverly Eldred, the YEO Point of Contact:

I believe the Yeomanry is in the midst of a major update of their site, which has become woefully out of date, so hopefully your difficulty will soon be remedied. Their site does have a remarkably concise listing of the steps to order a yeomanry regional event, though. I'm sure that their POC would respond positively to an email from you that has all the relevant info as well. (Her email is beldred@midsouth.rr.com)

But when you're looking for the most current regional adventure names and blurbs, your best bet is often to check out the warhorn listing of a regional LG convention. I think that BROKON was the most recent large Yeomanry convention, so try logging on to www.warhorn.net/brokon2006 and check out their Gaming Schedule page. Clicking on any of the scenarios will get you a listing of all the Year 5 and most of the Year 6 yeomanry scenarios and their blurbs.

Oops, I just looked at the link you listed. Those are all old, retired adventures. Only adventures from years 5 and 6 are available currently. All adventures retire on December 31st at midnight, the year after they are released. It looks like YEO had 8 year 5 mods, one of which was a 2-rounder, I believe. It looks like they have at least 5 year 6 mods out currently, maybe more.

Nope. Core modules come directly from HQ. When you order a Core module, the download contains the module as well as the ARs, and there's no password protection.

Physically? Renton, Washington, at WotC.

ok. Is it entirely voluntary? Who is actually a WotC employee. I was told the Triad were volunteers. What about the Circle? Are they volunteers. Where do RPGA and WotC merge?

They merge in the person of Director Ian Richards, who's the big cahuna in charge, and now in the person of Chris Tulach, who is the newly hired Content Manager. They are the only two employees of WotC with RPGA responsibilities.

Circle members and Triad members are volunteers. But it's not a case of "ooh, I'll help! Let me do something!" It's more like "Hey, you've been doing this a long time and a lot of people have noticed how well you do it. How would you like to be a member of this organization?"

So far, it seems to be a pretty good system. :D

Who is actually a WotC employee.

I believe, in addition to Ian and Chris, there's one, maybe two more actual paid RPGA employees (that handle web stuff, administration, etc.), but I could be mistaken.

Where do RPGA and WotC merge?

RPGA is owned by WotC. Specifically, it's part of WotC Organized Play (parellel to what DCI does for Magic), and, IIRC, is technically part of WotC marketing. The money that WotC spends on the RPGA is, fundamentally, a marketing expense for them, for the purpose of encoraging play of their RPGs.
