Is it the beginning racial list plus the "list of dialects which are Open for all PCs" from p.6 Character Creation - Step Three? - If so, why are there several languages listed at the end of that paragraph as requiring Campaign Access? | gomeztoo02-19-07, 11:19 AM | The Open list is the list from the PHB, and the list in the LGCS. I.e. Aquan is Open (except for the free bonus spells at 1st level), Kua-Toa is not. I suspect the non-Open list that was included (Ferral, Ur-Flan, etc) are intended as clarifications for (mostly) LG-specific languages that occasionally occur in scenarios, and that people ask about with regular intervals. |

Although, since most of those have their Open/Closed status defined by Race during character creation, an LGCS note might be made indicating that they become Open at 2nd level. |
| gomeztoo02-20-07, 10:04 AM | No, they are Open, but not for the bonus languages you get from Int (i.e. the 2 extra bonus langauges when you start with an Int 14), which are determined from your racial/class bonus languages list. You can still spend skillpoints on the other PHB languages during character creation. |
