03-31-07, 06:31 AM I have 8 players that want to play an event. A legal LG table consists of up to 6 players and 1 GM.

Can I run the adventure with 8 players, double the encounters for the given APL, and report it as two sessions?

But, hypothetically, 2x would be off. Technically, you should only increase encounters by 1.5, as they are balanced for tables of 4-6 and a table of 8 isn't a completely doubled number.
You would have to look at each encounter separately and consider if it can be doubled, increased by half or use alternate stats (such as APL6 instead of 4).

But again, it is against the rules. It would be wrong.

04-02-07, 01:49 PM There's nothing that I'm aware of to say you can't run 2 tables simultaneously if you can't find another DM.. would be really rather tricky though ;)
