| Mithrus02-27-07, 05:06 PM | Considering the massive changes to open content, will there be a revamp of meta-orgs this year? I know for the one my main character is in, most of the access he gained is now moot. Granted, I'm still keeping him in that meta-org for RP reasons, but it would be nice to know that the 8 TU cost will actually mean something too :) |

Of course, since I'm talking about Veluna and I have no idea where you are from, that answer is less helpful than it may seem. Ed |
| Mithrus02-28-07, 12:37 AM | Well, I was vague intentionally as i meant it to be a generic question. I am from Furyondy. I was wondering if there will be an official call to have the meta-org coordinators refurb the meta-orgs this year, or will it be up to the local triads? |
| Madfox1102-28-07, 03:44 AM | It will be up to the local triads. Remember, the new access rules means nothing for many MOs out there. Pieter Sleijpen RPGA Living Greyhawk Circle Member The Splintered Suns |
| haferka02-28-07, 08:08 AM | What happens to metaorg characters who after the rebuild, would not have qualified for the org? |
| Arvagor02-28-07, 08:31 AM | Presuming you're talking about a druid (the only PC-type that's allowed a rebuild), then if you train/rebuild away class/feats/abilities that were what qualified you for the MO in the first place, you likely can no longer advance through the ranks (or possibly even remain in). It's really up to the MO coordinators, but I really doubt most MO's requirements would change that drastically such that a character that qualified before the MO update wouldn't qualify after. |
| haferka02-28-07, 09:52 AM | MO cordinators might want to consider the problems associated with rebuilds or even retraining.. both can make a character invalid for access to a metaorg. You might want to build in flavor text for the MO that kick people who no longer qualify for the org... OR.. convert all the metaorgs to follow the "Affiliation" rules.. Here is a GREAT example that Britt has been working on... http://www.bandit-kingdoms.net/meta/ARs/DrinkersMetaAR.pdf The affiliation rules are better suited to the campaign now that rebuilds/retraining are allowed. if you shift the focus of your training it might hurt your status in the org... |

| gomeztoo03-01-07, 08:59 AM | convert all the metaorgs to follow the "Affiliation" rules... This I might do if I ever are going to find time. Like next year. |
