Eric Anondson 03-25-07, 12:51 PM	When you declare a smite (from smite evil, smite domain, smite whatever) and you miss, the smite is spent. However, if you have the Luck domain you can reroll a failed roll. If you declare a smite and then miss with the attack, then activate your Luck domain ability, do you get to re-use the smite for the rerolled attack? This would be particularly relevent for clerics of Ralishaz who can get both Destruction and Luck as domains.
jstorrie 03-25-07, 01:12 PM	Yes, you still get the smite as it's the same attack - you're not getting a second attack to replace the miss, you're rerolling your attack.
