| Casebier03-23-06, 10:59 AM | Going from LGCS 4.2 to 5.0, several of my scrolls have suddenly been devalued. However, there are no provisions in the LGCS 5.0 to grant me a refund. The 3.0 to 3.5 Conversion Guidelines don't apply here, nor do the CY 595 Class Guidebook Removal Conversion Guidelines. As I see it, if I don't get a refund, several of my scrolls will drop in spell level, but the caster level "should" stay the same. Am I missing something obvious here? John Jr |

| Lomiat03-23-06, 11:54 AM | As a DM, I'd allow you the Right Scroll for the Job benefits for the spell level at which the scroll was created. And if you didn't have the card but explained to me ahead of time why you wanted the benefit, I'd allow you the benefit (though I'd subtract the "card" from your total allowed). |
| Iswald03-27-06, 01:04 PM | Was it the change to the LGCS that changed the value of your scrolls or the addition of the Spell Compendium to LG? This was covered at one point, perhaps the first dispel confusion of this year? |
| Casebier04-13-06, 04:58 PM | It was the addition of the SC that changed the cost of my scrolls. The DC 2-1 only gives provisions for spells in a spell book or known spells. It doesn't mention anything about crafted spell-storing items. (scrolls/potions/wands) John Jr |
