I want to see this ruling in 5.0. Let's either kill these off by putting in the previous Circle ruling for precedent or rule that they're OK. I'm tired of the four variances you'll see at any given con: 1. "They're fine." 2. "Describe a realistic 50gp, 1pd tool that will give you that, and I'll allow it," 3. DM doesn't ask, player's not going to tell; 4. "No." I'm of the thought that they should be disallowed, seeing as how many skills currently have increasers courtesy of Races and Complete, albeit at Limited access. I wouldn't be opposed to making those increasers core, but it's probably too much exception-writing. -Morgan Hardy Nashville
