Can somebody please cite a reference on the current situation? Thanks, Jolyon Core rules apply absent any Circle ruling. Core rules allow multiple spells per scroll, so absent any ruling to the contrary they are allowed. The limitations imposed by core rules still apply, but without any subsequent circle ruling on it, no further limitations do. Direct references would be Britt's Q/A thread on this board explaining the first. The DMG and PHB would suffice for what core rules allow. -James |
| Darragh04-08-07, 02:22 PM | It was me who brought it up in the Perrenland regional discussion. The thread in which it was discussed didn't provide any concrete ruling on the matter. So far as I could ascertain, it was subject to Triad or DM ruling. I just want to know what's canon so I can safely scribe some scrolls. |
| Timlagor04-08-07, 04:59 PM | It is not subject to GM or Triad ruling. The DMG unambiguously allows the existence and crafting of multi-spell scrolls. The limitations are: - Must be able to prepare/cast all spells to be scribed on a given day - no more than 1000gp's worth of crafting per day A DM could impose a penalty by making it harder (slower) to find specific spells on large scrolls with different spells on. |
