| KarmaInferno08-21-07, 05:43 PM | By default, if it's not Open, then it's Closed. You need campaign documentation to open it for your character. The only reason they even have a "closed" list in the LGCS is so folks know what will NEVER be allowed for PCs, so people can stop bugging their triads to put those things in a mod. Some people nicknamed the stuff that isn't specifically listed as Open or Closed as "NONC", Neither Open Nor Closed. But it's basically all closed unless you have an AR or something allowing you to take it. If it helps, think of all the non-listed stuff as Limited, as it was called in the old LGCS. I've only ever see Natural Bond opened for access via nature-related meta-orgs. So check with your local triad. -karma |

I have never seen it on a cert, possibly becasue so many regions offer it as metaorg access. Perrenland has two metaorgs that offer it. Ratik has one proposed but not currently ratified meta-org that will offer it. I do not know what other regions offer it but i gather there are quite a few. |
| ankhwearer08-21-07, 08:32 PM | By default, if it's not Open, then it's Closed. Karma misspoke here, but the rest of the post is accurate. Closed is not the default. Closed is a state assigned to items that are banned from the campaign altogether. Items that are Open are always allowed. Items, by which I mean magic items, feats, PrC's, etc., that are not defined as open or closed in the LGCS can be allowed, if the user has a document that allows it. The two most common documents are Meta-org membership and access granted on an AR. These are the "NONC" labeled things that were mentioned, but considering them "Closed", as in banned from the campaign, is inaccurate. As for how to get Natural Bond--it's very common in Druid and Ranger oriented Meta-orgs. Check with your triad. |
| seraphimpunk08-23-07, 02:17 PM | I'm in Keoland, trying to find Natural Bond for my Ranger/Druid before 6th level. But none of the meta-orgs in my region grant access to it. Does anyone know of any meta org that will let me join, without being from their region? |
| KarmaInferno08-23-07, 03:14 PM | Perrenland has an org that gives the Natural Bond feat. Don't remember the name. Need to worship one of the Flan gods, and have played a Perrenland regional, I think. -karma |

| MadVlad08-27-07, 10:15 AM | Bissel has the Way of the Root, but it doesn't offer it. There was a mod I played, it might have been an old Bissel mod or Sheldomar mod offered access to one limited feat, but since there is no such thing as a limited feat anymore, that favor is probably void unless you've already used it...... |
| pimeister08-31-07, 09:30 PM | Nyrond's brotherhood of bronze offers it. |
