The WotC help center is a bust since they only provide answers to individuals (and those answers sometimes vary). The Circle refuses to make such rulings. The Sage/FAQ is nice but it's too few rulings and too infrequent. Proposal: I think it would be easy for some Circle-sanctioned volunteer to create a discussion board specifically for this purpose. A players could petition a rules issue and participants (anyone with an RPGA number) could vote as to whether that rules issue should have an official ruling. Once accepted, a discussion would ensue and after a period of time a second vote would determine the final ruling. Core rulebooks and the FAQ would override anything determined by the board. Thoughts? |

And if it doesn't, something that would seem viable is to make a compilation of really bad table variations, then have the circle kick it up to R&D. |
