One official LGCS version, please [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-02-06, 10:36 AM There were two official versions of the LGCS 4.2 with different pagination. This time, please only release one official version.

The HTML version that The Pale has is good, but having two different paginations makes it difficult to refer to page numbers when discussing the rules.

02-02-06, 11:07 AM There is only one official LGCS. It's the one on this website. Anything else is not the official document, but certainly may be used for reference purposes.

02-02-06, 11:49 AM I think Ken is referring to the fact that after the Circle released the LGCS 4.2, WotC took that and added it's "pretty" parchment borders (this being the file available here: http://www.wizards.com/rpga/downloads/LGCS_v4-2.zip). This "pretty" version changed the fonts and formatting in a few places (notably in chapter 5, turning the spells/feats/etc. lists into a 3-column format), which is what changed the pagination (it also and introduced some spelling errors as well, IIRC).

I didn't mind the 3-column format (obviously helped save some space), but the background was an ink hog, especially on color printing.
