| Darthan12-04-06, 10:02 PM | Is there any plan to include the classes in the PHBII into the LG campain? I would like to play the knoght class but can not find where it is allowed. |
| kenobi6512-04-06, 10:13 PM | No way to know for sure until next year's update of the LGCS. Based on what I've read, there's been some limited access to some PHBII classes given on ARs recently, but nothing from PHBII has been given "Core" access at this time. |
| Darthan12-04-06, 10:22 PM | Thanks, I may wait until next year to start playing my knightly character. Hoping that the Knight actually becomes available. I don't mind starting as a fighter but would like to eventually move to Knight by 3rd or 4th level. |
| Dragon912-05-06, 12:52 AM | Ya know... i wasn't overly impressed by any of the PHB 2 classes. However, I am holding out hope (probably a futile thing) that the classes form Tome of Battle will make it into the LGCS. I have a militant cleric of Rao whose concept absolutely screams for the Crusader class and it's diamond mind abilities. |
| TimRat12-05-06, 11:12 AM | i will say that tome of battle will not be available in LG. we are abotu to go over everything with the new books for the LGCS but it won't be for a while until its released on these boards for review. |
| Morgen12-05-06, 03:00 PM | Honestly I wouldn't mind getting a chance to play a Dragon Shaman, they arn't too broken but they are kind of fun. |
| Dragon912-05-06, 09:09 PM | Aw man Tim... you're always dashing my hopes! Whether it be including somethign in a mod, for a convention, or an addition to the campaign! Bleh... :P Too bad, I think Tome of Battle is one of the better books to come out for D&D in some time. I think you guys should really reconsider it. :) |
| Shieldhart9112-10-06, 04:44 AM | Tome of Battle? Good book. Not for Living Greyhawk. People are too accustomed to spells and things, and when my players at my home campaign pull those things out at me, I'm just like "Uh...sounds reasonable. Alright." I was hoping for Duskblade. But that's looking as broken as a minotaur's tea cup. |
| Jay_Ibero_91112-10-06, 10:14 AM | Dragon Shaman is one base class that actually would be worthwhile to take all the way. Makes for good light infantry and support...I'd say it's about equivalent to a paladin with worse BAB, and without as much MAD...Somewhere between Paladin and Marshal/Bard... |
| Shieldhart9112-10-06, 08:55 PM | Dragon Shamans look plenty fun to me. They're seemingly fair...the Beguiler looks promising as well...but bloody useless against undead- more then a Rogue. |
