Lightblade 05-04-06, 04:58 PM	Just something I thought about for a bit. I'm a college student. I go to college in MA (Bissel), but my permanent address is still in NJ (Keoland). I registered my RPGA # under my MA mailing address. I consider MA my home now (as of Origins '05, at least) and have judged Bissel modules for players up here. I was wondering: if I went "home home" to Keoland, would I be able to run Keoland modules? I'd like to say yes, but i realize that would set bad precident and open up a new can of worms. (IE if I could do that, I suppose I could judge Keoland for the WF open fiesta, which for some reason seems a little more wrong to me). Again, I don't expect this to actually matter since I don't expect to run any mods in NJ. It was just something I was curious about.
JohnduBois 05-04-06, 05:32 PM	Your registered RPGA address is considered your only "home address" for the purpose of running regional events. In addition, I think you can only change your "home address" once per year.
Nerax 05-04-06, 06:14 PM	My understanding of the rules is that what ever region/state that you are physically "standing" in is the region who's mods you can run. If you go home to Keoland and have played a mod or are willing to eat the mod then why would you not be able to? I have heard of several people who have drove through states in route to a con and played that regions modules. I believe that you should contact the local triad and let them know your intentions when you get the mods from there region. If you know that regions flavor (one of the most important things I think) then I see no problem with you running mods other than from Bissel, in an Open Fiesta. As for the "home address" I believe that you can only change your characters region at his first mod of the new year. Any triad/circle people want to correct me if I am wrong....
opa 05-04-06, 08:50 PM	Check the LGCS FAQ page 65.. there is a question regarding going across a border and renting a hotel room to judge a game... the short answer is no you can judge only in the region that matches your mailing address, exceptions , can be made at major conventions . You can play in whatever region you are standing, but certainly not judge games.. Opa

You can play in whatever region you are standing, but certainly not judge games.. Opa You may only order and run adventures for the region/metaregion connected to your RPGA address. However, if you frequently play in another region and are familiar with it, a con organizer can certainly allow you to judge one or more of his con's regional adventures under his/her direction. Note that the con organizer is from the region and has ordered the games, you are only judging them for him/her.

Arvagor 05-22-06, 09:36 AM	Then you effectively have no region, and you can only play Cores. IIRC, this comes up at least once every 6 months or so (re: regions for military personnel), and the answer has always boiled down to "Sorry, you're stuck with Cores only."
