I was told that these soft cover books are not allowed. So if a character wants to be one of these, which books do u reference to see what u can do or what the benefit does or is.

If you are referring to the documentation on the PoU website: http://www.thepou.net/ I'm afraid that is out of date. The most current documentation is available in the Pou-discussion Yahoo Group: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/pou-discussion/ Although I don't live in the PoU, I do play a character that does!
MichaelTLH 04-07-06, 11:52 AM	Our Yeoman compatriot is correct, our web-site is woefully out of date and the most current information can be found on our Yahoo! group. That said, two of our previous meta-organizations, the Waywatchers and the Wanderers did not warrant inclusion in our latest meta-organizational handbook due to low membership, and therefore are no longer giving any benefits whatsoever...
