You may use any of the options for which you can substitute an attack during a full round attack action. A note of caution, however, as whirlwind will prevent a person with improved trip from being able to use the 'follow up' attack from a successful trip. But if you wished to do so, you could perform the following in sequence with a whirlwind full attack action: 1. Against a foe within 5' you could make an unarmed disarm check to obtain their flail (provoking and the like depending on feats). 2. Attack a 2nd foe within 5' with that flail. 3. Make a 5' adjust/step. 4. Attempt to trip a 3rd foe now in reach of your flail with it. 5. Drop the flail 6. Quickdraw a longspear. 7. Attack a dog-mounted 4th foe that is currently 10' away with the longspear. 8. Attack their little dog too with the longspear (assuming it was not any of the prior foes). 9. Weep, for there are no more enemies to attack or worlds to conquer. Granted Whirlwind is a weird feat.. but then again it requires 4 other feats... -James |
