If a weapon special ability such as flaming has a spell in its creation that is subject to spell resistance such as fireball is the special ability subject to spell resistance also? 2. If a spell transports you to another plane such as with the prismatic spray spell where exactly do they go? Are they transported to a random plane by using the planar handbook or are they just transported to some outer plane where they can eventually find thier way back to the material plane. If the PC has the ability to return home during gameplay does that change anything at all for Living greyhawk play? Thanks for looking |

No. The damage is being dealt by a weapon, not a spell, and thus, not subject to spell resistance. 2. Unless the module has specific instruction otherwise, if the PC in question doesn't specifically have a way to get home (i.e., has Plane Shift or something), I would suspect they would be out of the campaign. |

There is a "Lost on Another Plane" section in the LGCS. It costs a number of TUs plus some gold to return from another plane. |

Someone was subjected to just such an effect during some mod play at Origins -- failed the initial save, then failed four straight re-rolls (Luck domain + burned 3 favors). I believe he ended up on Acheron (could've been worse ) |
