I'm sorry, feat or no feat, casting while raging doesn't make a lick of sense. They shouldn't have made a feat to allow it IMO.

Rage Mage... a whole prestige class devoted to casting under the effects of rage..

Raging Spell card is likely going away in the next Dispel Confusion. It was one we meant to do in the last one but forgot.

I was wondering when this would happen. Thanks for the warning.

I agree it should go away... I forgot to put this in the LGCS one. I've got a 15th level archmage with quicken spell... outputting a pair of level 8 spells a round is fairly rude.

Yeah, that kind of rudness should be reserved for clerics only. They ought to get a bone for having better HD, BAB, saves, and zero spell failure afterall.

I was hoping to use a heightened chained unluck.

Sure probably not the most effective way to abuse the card, but it sure is funny when you're entire opposing team is fumbling and failing saves everywhere.

there shouldn't be anything to let you cast under a rage. Its self defeating.

Barb/wiz: I'm so ****** off RAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH *begins moving hands about and speaking jibber-jabber* *magic missile flies out*

That should never ever ever happen.

Raging spell is a campaign card that lets you spontaneously apply a metamagic feat without having prepared it metamagicked. It has a slight drawback in that you become fatigued. Diddums.

O. I thought it was a feat or something. either way I'm just saying casting while raging should never happen.

I believe they get to cast while under the effects of the X spell (cant remember name.... gives them fighter BA, spell normally restricts you to non-spellcasting actions.. ie hiting people).

Can you just restrict it characters in the "Rage Mage" prestige class? It fits them so well, and helps compensate for their lower spellcasting abilities... (caused by multiclassing into Barb & Sor/Wiz, I dont have the prestige class in front of me but I think it does NOT have full spellcasting progress either).

No, sorry. Cards are either allowed or disallowed.

That could be particularly broken for a Rage Mage anyway, since they already have the ability to automatically quicken a spell while raging.

While we're talking about cards is that Second Wind card that was handed out at World Wide Gamesday legal?

Twin holy word should stop a hezrou leveling a party
Twin Plane Shift
Quickened rightuos might Full Attack
Twin Resurection (although not really useful it sounds nice)
Twin Empowered Heroes Feast (interactive)

I prefer Twin Split Empowered Scorching Ray
Twin disintigrates will get you through any castle
Widened Transdimensional Evards keeps away undead
Twin area effect Gtr Dispel Magic
Twin Trap the Soul

Paladin uses Pearl of Power to retrieve 1st lvl Empowered Lesser Rest(Irony)
Quicken Animal Growth
But the question was to explore the possibilities of casting a twin limited wish?
(obviousley it costs 600xp and can only be done in two rounders)
any thoughts :)
