| SirApropos04-04-07, 12:55 PM | I have a few questions about Ranged Trip Attacks that certain weapons allow you to make. (Bolas, Barbed Bolas, Glots from Frostburn) 1) Is it still a touch attack like a normal trip attempt? 2) Does the weapon also deal damage? 3) Do you still count size modifiers in for the trip attempt? 4) Can you add Weapon Capsule Retainers to these weapons and have them trigger when they trip? |
| Timlagor04-04-07, 08:08 PM | I believe the answers are: 1) Yes 2) No 3) Yes 4) No because you need to be doing damage for them to work. ..but I haven't double-checked the wording on the Ranged Trip weapons (and Barbed Bolas definitely sound like they might do damage as well). |

It seems implied that those weapons deal damage as well as cause a trip attempt (or maybe it's the other way around, tripping and then dealing damage), but the rules are quiet on that subject. |
