Kheti sa-Menik 03-24-07, 05:47 PM	There's some RPGA events coming up for Living Greyhawk at a local con. I've downloaded the LGCS document and created a c haracter. I am a member of the RPGA already. Do I need to register my character online at the RPGA site? If so, I don't seem to find a place I can do so on the site.
smerwin29 03-24-07, 05:50 PM	Nope. Just show up at the event, preferably with a character already to go, and you should be fine. You only need to "register" characters in campaigns like Xen'drik Expeditions. Is this UBCON you are attending? Shawn

Hiya fellow local gamer :) I went to a UBCon...one or two years ago...with a Legend of the Green Regent character I had to register online which is why I asked about having to register to play in Living Greyhawk events. I've never played in Living Greyhawk event but that one RPGA event I played in had no only one other person show so it didn't count. Is it possible to run RPGA Living Greyhawk events with my gaming group? I am a Herald Level GM. I would just have each player register as an RPGA player and I'd pull events down off the web, correct?

You go to your Member's Page on the RPGA site, and from there you can create events and order adventures. Some adventures you can download right from the RPGA site after you order them, and some adventures you have to get the event or a password from your regional Living Greyhawk triad. But once you order an event, you can run it for anyone you'd like and sign them up for the RPGA. You need RPGA membership cards for them, which are sometimes sent to you after you register an event, and other times you have to request them. The guys running the RPGA part of UBCon might be able to hook you up with some if you don't have any. The guys who will be at UBCon running RPGA stuff (particularly Bob, Kevin, and Rich) should be able to answer all of your questions, help you out with knowing how to organize things to run your own games, let you know about other gaming opportunities in western NY and elsewhere, and they are good guys too. I would be there, but I have other obligations that weekend. So have fun! Shawn
