Hi I am too new to LG to know if this is an error. On LGCS 5.0 on page 37 where spell costs are listed, reincarnate is not on the list. Is this an oversight?

Refer to the Reincarnate rules on page 42.

Also, know that some meta-orgs also grant the ability to find a caster of the spell, and that scrolls of reincarnate are inexpensive enough to be purchased without access.

Not quite inexpensive enough. Scrolls of only 750 gp can be purchased, reincarnate costs 1700.

I don't see where the price of 1,700 comes from (although it would make sense). Page 242 of the DMG lists 700 gp, and the DMG errata doesn't say anything about it.

However, 1,700 is still distinctly less than the 5,000 or so Raise Dead costs...

Ok, then that's weird. 700 gp for a 4th level spell, caster level 7, +1000gp for the material component for reincarnate should give 1700 gp for a scroll of reincarnate. However, you are quite correct in listing the DMG price for the scroll.

In Keoland, if you have members of certain meta-orgs in your party, thay can burn a influence point with their meta-orgs + 1 Tu and 1280 Gold to get a reincarnate cast. I was wondering abotht teh rest of the LG workd. I am thinking of getting my asherati reincarnated after the Bright Sands arc is finished (12% chance of permanent death I know)

16% chance...you've done your math wrong...

Anyhoo, at least you're not cheesing your way through the spell, choosing to die and be reincarnated because it's at an advantage to your character (having lost the advantage of the race once the storyline is over)...

Oh wait...

isnt that storyline complete... I know most people havent played all the mods.. but Arent all of them release now?

On that note.. what is the next mini-campaign?

Perhaps a Frostburn series? or Stormwrack?

No. COR6-02 was just released and should be followed by a few others. I don't think the storyline will continue beyond 2006 but don't quote me on that (personally, I would like it to continue)
