| Rerednaw02-15-07, 04:44 PM | Hi folks, I have a question. Say Feat taken at 3rd is a prerequisite for a feat taken at 5th. I would like to have a different feat in the 3rd level slot, but that would mess up the 5th level slot. An added complication is that I still want the feat from 3rd and would like to have it in the 5th level slot instead. By the retraining rules the only way to do this would be: Retrain level 5 feat (to anything legal.) Retrain level 3 feat (to what I want.) Retrain level 5 feat (to what I want.) Total time 3 retrains. 12 TU's + x gold. Is that correct? |

| Hariman02-15-07, 06:19 PM | Rerednaw, you are right that it is going to take three different times retraining (And thus 3 levels) to get the feats you want. You can't retrain prerequisites. So you're a little stuck. Unless you just retrain the fifth level feat to the one that you want in the third level slot. Although I get the feeling that there is something that I am missing. Without the pre-reg. feat, you could not have taken the 5th level feat at all (thus it's not 'legal')..so it would take 3 retrains ( and 3 levels, since only one retrain per level) |
