I didn't see anything in the draft to stop me spending 8TUs +Xgp when I gain a level to change 2 (or more for higher cost) aspects of my character using the retraining rules.

Is there such a restriction?
The LGCS should probably specify either way as people are likely to assume different things otherwise (it's sort of implied but not stated clearly). It's also possible that such a limit is in PHB2 but I didn't see it.. and it should probably be reiterated in the LGCS anyway.

With the cost I don't think such a restriction is necessary.

The restriction is in PH2. The LGCS says to use those rules and those rules say you can do it once a level.

the rules regarding this issue are actually spelled out in the PHB2 rules for retraining: "Each time your character attains a new level, you can select one (and only one) of these options."

that being said, the PHB2 is worded poorly to disallow a character (using the LG rules) to spend 12 TU and the appropriate gold to retrain on one option multiple times.

the spirit of the rule is obviously that you can only retrain for one use of one option per level, but it will need clarification in the LGCS to avoid liberal readings.
