11-15-07, 02:34 PM If I have access to +1 mithral breastplate (and purchase it), can it be upgraded to +2 mithral breastplate? Or would I have to have AR access to +2 mithral breastplate?

11-15-07, 02:38 PM +1 to +5 enchantments are open access for armor and weapons. You could have just found the breastplate and then made it +1. You can definitely upgrade it to +2 from +1.

11-15-07, 04:26 PM Note that this has only been the case since February this year, when LGCS v7 was released. That is why you'll see ARs from Year 6 and early Year 7 which contain favours and other access to +2 or greater weapon and armour enhancements (along with wands of CLW, Heward's Handy Haversacks, +2/+4/+6 stat-boost items and other things which got added to the 'Open' list this year)
