Small Creatures and Mundane Items [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-04-06, 10:49 PM Is mundane gear earned through adventuring assumed to be sized for medium creatures? For example, along the road I find a mithril breastplate. Am I allowed to purchase this later as sized for a small creature, such as a halfling? The same for greatspears, warmaces, etc.

Sorry if the answer is obvious, I've tried searching the LGCS several times and wasn't able to find a definitive answer.

12-04-06, 11:08 PM Yes, items you find in an adventure are available for purchase in Small and Medium sizes (and Large for centaurs). I cannot seem to find the ruling right now, but that is the rule.
