10-17-07, 11:49 AM My LGCS rules knowledge is a bit rusty and I left the document at home, so I just wanted to check on something. In particular, I'm wanting to make sure I remember two things correctly:

If a Sorcerer gets a scroll of a limited spell, that provides the access they need in order to take that spell as one of their spells known.

Also, they have to keep a physical copy of the scroll around in order to keep using the spell.

Am I remembering those things right?

If a sorc finds a scroll of a limited spell, that provides access to the spell. They must keep the scroll until they they have learned it as a new spell. Once they have learned the new spell, they may discard/sell/use the scroll.

There are various reasons to keep the scroll, but it isn't strictly necessarily to keep it once you have learned the spell.

10-17-07, 12:54 PM Odd...I must have been remembering the Wizard rules for rather than the Sorcerer ones...didn't even remember that it was in a Dispel Confusion. That works for me, though. Thanks!
